MEET THE FOUNDER

 My name is Heidi Endress and I have an extensive background in Elementary Education, as a high school coach, and have been a visual arts teacher, and therapeutic arts program director and facilitator.  I live with passion and with the aloha spirit and vibes.  I love God, sharing his light, and all that life on this planet gives us, I have a deep respect for nature and its beauty along with a deep desire to serve others. 

My AA Degree is in Commercial Art, as early on, I had a passion for creating unique ways to express thoughts, ideas, emotions, and a true passion for the visual gifts that attach themselves to visual art.  
I have an extensive knowledge of art history, as well.

For the past 36 years, I’ve been blessed to be an Elementary Educator, teaching classes ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade, and excelling in ART for the past 10 years.  I have been the Art Director for an Elementary school for the last 10 years and have been a traveling Art Director for an outstanding company known globally.  I have always enjoyed working with young artists as they begin building their foundation and love for the arts.  Along with coaching and guiding artists, I have also been blessed with coaching high school students in sports, helping them conquer the mental game, as well as the physical. 

On my own time, Im the head coach of high school students in sports.  I also have my own art education business, Art Waves of Positive Energy, LLC.  I am a certified Therapuetic Art life coach as well.   With my business, I hold private art / craft sessions and painting lessons for adults, teens, and elementary ages. I also teach art at the Alliance for the Arts in Ft. Myers. I’m the Summer Art Director there and love working and hiving back to community!  

   When I have some quiet time, you’ll find me worshipping in nature, painting ocean, landscape, and abstract art, enjoying therapeutic art techniques, and brainstorming fun, new, and unique ways to implement them in my teaching,

Art is a vital way to express our dreams, goals, and is a beautiful and constructive way to release emotions, both positive and on the challenging side.  Art is a natural remedy for happiness, calmness, and assists our mind and physical bodies in being centered and at peace in the moment.  It’s a perfect way to reflect inner growth, self-esteem and awareness, and self-love.  Art is a perfect way to celebrate similarities, to see diversity among one another, and it’s a beautiful way to build social skills, collaborations, and friendships.

I am a true believer that art can change moods, thoughts, and our life.  I believe in holding a high vibe way of life. Expressing emotions in a healthy, creative way releases stress, anxiety and increases the good feels!  Meeting the needs of all my students and clients in their life events with color & creative expression is what I strive for during each session. I firmly believe when we blend creative flow and art into our world, it produces harmony on so many different levels. Peace and harmony can reflect in our masterpiece at hand, quite like life does to the heart and soul.  We can capture moments that quiet the mind, ease the burdens and worries, and produces positive projects. 

I also have a social platform, Waves of Positive Energy, to enhance everyday life events, challenges, and celebrations.  I enjoy giving shared experience, a joy for living on the positive side, and seeing life as endless opportunities to enhance each day with growth, renewal, and vibrant avenues to stretch the thinking and the creative side of life.

It is an honor to be a part of the Homeschool Haven of SWFL Family. It would also be an honor to help your young student, artist, and your family reach your goals, creative potential, and your inner sparkle that’s just waiting to bloom and grow! 

My name is Falecia Civil,  and my love for kiddos has always been my driving force. From an early age, being a teacher is all that I ever wanted to be. I am a firm believer that all kiddos deserve the absolute best and to be met right where they are at in their education journey. It is an honor to be blessed with the responsibility to teach the next generation, and I do not take it lightly. 

As a student, school was my escape. Two guaranteed meals, someone to ask me how I was and a distraction from my homelife. Education was my way out, like so many of our kids. After graduating from the Lee County School District in 2010, I went on to earn my Associates in Science from Edison State College followed by my Bachelors in Middle School Education grades 5-9 from  Florida Southwestern State College. During these 4 years I was also honored to receive the Outstanding Middle & Secondary Educator Award from my graduating class.

Then it was here. I was finally a teacher and I was able to go back and teach in some of the same halls that I learned in myself. To give back to my community the way it had given so much to me. This is where God confirmed this is where I was meant to be. Working with middle schoolers is pure magic and I truly love every question, every joke and every good or bad day that we had together. They are the best aged human beings on the planet, and I truly believe that. After teaching for 4 years at Fort Myers Middle Academy and earning LCDS Middle School ELA teacher of the year, I was offered a Teaching/Teacher Coach position in Denver, Colorado. 

As an educator, what better of an opportunity to make a larger impact on students than to help their teachers become the absolute best that they could be. Over the next 4 years God pushed me in all aspects of my life to truly dismantle what I thought education was or should look like. Learning a new state, new people, new cultures and learning right alongside my students and teachers was the biggest blessing of my career. Upon starting a family, we decided to move back to Florida where I was able to complete my final year in the classroom before becoming a stay at home mom. 

At Homeschool Haven, my goal is for your kiddo to feel like they are at home and that they are in a safe space to ask questions, express themselves through writing and arts and truly lead their learning. Enhancing your child's education to help support you as the parent, at the same time. Our Middle Schoolers need as much love, support and encouragement that we can give to them. Hello, my name is Celina. I am a Florida native who loves the sunshine and outdoors. I am spunky, energetic, and fit in to be one of the kids when I’m around (or so I like to think so) Growing up with my mother running her own daycare I knew someday I wanted to do just that and teach children. For many years I have been the teacher of arts and crafts, science, gardening, and sewing. I went from teaching my own children, neighbors, and extended families to now being blessed teaching your littles. 

I’m someone who finds joy in helping little hands learn, in watching seeds grow, and in stitching love into every thread. Teaching has always been close to my heart, it’s where patience blooms and creativity comes alive. Whether I’m guiding a curious mind, tending to my garden, or sewing something special, I pour the same care and attention into each moment with your children. 

Gardening reminds me that growth takes time. Sewing teaches me that beauty is built one stitch at a time. And teaching ties it all together the patience, the nurturing, and the joy of creating something meaningful.

Every day, I’m grateful for the knowledge and wisdom taught to me throughout my years. It has given me the opportunity to share it with Homeschool Haven. 

My objective at Homeschool Haven is to Inspire, create, and teach little growing minds that anything is achievable.
